Privacy Policy

Last updated 10 September 2026

The short version

There are no accounts and no sign-in. Your setups, your rosters, your season standings and — importantly — your photos never leave the device you're playing on. We have no copy of them. We couldn't hand them over if we were asked.

Playing the free game sends us nothing at all beyond an ordinary web request for the page.

With Pro, the names on your roster and a description of your room are sent to our AI provider so the announcer can write about them. That's the one thing worth understanding before you type a child's full name in. See Playing with children.

What stays on your device, always

Ragmop stores these in your browser's local storage, on that device only:

We can't see any of it. Clear your browser data and it's gone for good, which is why the app offers an export file.

What is sent, and when

WhenWhat goesWhere
Any visit Standard web request data — IP address, browser type, which files you loaded Netlify, our host
Free play Nothing else. Tasks and announcer audio are pre-made files served like any other web page. —
Pro play, each round Player or team names and any ages you typed, the venue, the zones you selected, your setup notes, the labels of your goal photos (never the photos), and what happened in recent rounds Anthropic, to write the round
Pro play, each round The text of the two lines the announcer speaks, which usually include a player or team name ElevenLabs, to speak them
Buying Pro Your email and payment details, entered on Stripe's own page Stripe. We never see your card.
Restoring a purchase The email address you type Our server, to ask Stripe whether it bought something

Our server logs record that an unlock or restore happened, and the email or code used, so we can help when something goes wrong. We keep those logs for a short period and delete them.

Playing with children

Ragmop is built for classrooms, camps, troops and family rooms. Children are meant to play it. But children never sign in, never type anything into an account, and we never knowingly collect personal information from a child.

The one thing to know: with Pro, whatever you type on the roster is sent to our AI provider so the host can use it out loud. If you type a student's full name, that name is sent.

Our strong recommendation for classrooms: use team names. "Table 3", "Red Group", "Row 2". The game is better that way anyway — it's built for teams, and thirty children can't take individual turns. If you want individual names, first names only.

Goal photos never leave the device under any circumstances, free or Pro. If a photo happens to catch a student, it stays on your machine. We'd still suggest photographing the room before anyone is in it.

If you believe a child's personal information has reached us, email support@ragmop.tv and we will delete it.

Schools and districts

If your school needs a data protection agreement, a COPPA or FERPA review, or a completed vendor questionnaire, email support@ragmop.tv. The honest summary for your reviewer: no student accounts, no student data stored on our servers, no photos uploaded, and the only personally identifying text that leaves the device is whatever the teacher chooses to type on the roster — which we recommend be team names.

Cookies and tracking

We don't use advertising cookies, analytics cookies, or third-party trackers. The app uses your browser's local storage to remember your own setups on your own machine. Nothing follows you anywhere.

Who we share with

Only the providers listed in the table above, and only what's listed. We don't sell your information. We don't share it for advertising. We may disclose information if the law genuinely requires it.

Your choices

Security

Traffic to ragmop.tv is encrypted. Payment is handled entirely by Stripe. The most protective thing about the design is simply that we hold almost nothing — there is no store of photos, rosters, or classroom data to breach.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
